Cookie Policy

The short version

Nothing that identifies you is stored until you agree to it. We use Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to understand how this site is used and whether our advertising works. All of them stay switched off — writing no cookies and sending no identifiers — until you accept in the bar at the bottom of the page. Rejecting is one click and costs you nothing.

Fonts are served from our own infrastructure, so reading a page sends nothing to a font provider.

What this website stores without asking

Four entries in local storage, none of which identifies you:

• wranx-theme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Set only when you use the toggle.
• wranx-consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we stop asking.
• wranx-revisit — remembers which drill questions you answered and when, so we can ask you again a few days later. It holds your three answers, the date you gave them, and which of those questions have since been asked again and when. It names nobody, and the record itself never leaves your browser.
• wranx-experiment-home-hero-v1 — remembers whether you see the carousel or static homepage hero, so you keep the same version throughout the test. It contains only “carousel” or “static” and does not identify you.

All four stay in your browser and the entries themselves are never sent to us. Two small facts do leave: the homepage version is attached to analytics events so we can compare the two, and a repeated drill sends the question, days elapsed and whether you got it right. Both are sent whether or not you accept analytics; without consent they carry no cookie or identifier. Neither identifies you.

Reading this site sets no cookies at all. Pages are served from a cache that is identical for every visitor, which is only possible because there is nothing visitor-specific in them to store.

Three pages are the exception, because they carry a form you can submit: Contact, Request a Demo and the drill signup. Opening one sets two strictly necessary cookies, and only those:

• laravel-session — holds the form state for your visit, including anything you need re-shown if a submission is rejected. It expires after two hours.
• XSRF-TOKEN — proves the submission came from the form on our page rather than from another site posting on your behalf.

Neither is used for analytics or advertising, and neither follows you between visits. They are exempt from the consent requirement because the forms cannot work securely without them, but they are listed here because you should be able to see everything we set.

What we set only if you accept

Google Analytics 4 (property G-G5TKYTGH4P), which tells us which pages are read, for how long, and roughly where in the world from. IP addresses are anonymised.

Google Ads (AW-11245470788), which tells us whether an advert we paid for led to somebody requesting a demo.

HubSpot (portal 3314994), which links an enquiry you send us to the pages you read beforehand, so whoever replies has some context.

The LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner 5341314), which measures whether our LinkedIn advertising reaches the people we intended.

The Google tags run under Consent Mode v2: before you decide they are present but every storage permission is set to denied, so no cookie is written and no advertising identifier is sent. HubSpot and LinkedIn sit outside Consent Mode, so they are not loaded onto the page at all until you accept.

We do not run session replay. Nothing records your mouse movements, scrolling or keystrokes.

What the platform stores

Once you are signed in to the Wranx learning platform, we set a small number of strictly necessary cookies:

• A session cookie that keeps you signed in
• A CSRF token that protects forms from cross-site request forgery
• A preference cookie holding your theme and language choice

These are essential to the service. Blocking them will stop the platform working.

Changing your mind

Clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser removes your stored decision, and the bar will ask again on your next visit. Doing so also resets your theme choice to light and signs you out of the platform.

Browsers let you view and clear this per site, usually under privacy or site settings.
